Promoting a Drug-Free Future: Substance Abuse Awareness Program
On June 26, 2024, the Recovery Wellness Society, in collaboration with the Users Network of Assam and Nazir Ajmal Memorial College of Education (NAMCE), organized a Substance Abuse Awareness Program as part of our Anti-Drug Awareness Campaign to mark the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking. Theme: Support, Don’t Punish. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Dr. Khasrul Islam, Director of AJMAL FOUNDATION; Dr. MRH Azad, GM of AJMAL FOUNDATION; esteemed actor Sri Gaurab Borah; Miss Anamika, the current Miss Assam and ambassador for our anti-drugs campaign; and all the faculty and staff of Ajmal Foundation for their enthusiastic and inspiring involvement in this initiative. The event attracted over 250 students, all dedicated to promoting a drug-free future. Additionally, certificates for the Art Competition held on June 25, 2024, were awarded during this event, further fostering creativity and self-expression among the students.
